Is Pubs database and Northwind database a history? - Monday, December 10, 2007

That is correct. Pubs and Northwind sample databases that were part of SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000 are no longer a part of SQL Server Sample databases instead Microsoft SQL Server team has added a new sample database called AdventureWorks which is now shipped with SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008.
